Proper Storage
Store your jewellery in a dry and safe place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use individual pouches or boxes to prevent pieces from scratching each other.
Appropriate storage will also minimise metal elements from excessively oxidising. Oxidising is a natural process in which metals react with the air and become darker in colour and less shiney. This can be an aesthetic choice in itself, according to preference.
Cleaning Techniques
Regularly clean your jewellery with a soft cloth to remove dirt and oils. For more stubborn stains or to polish an oxidising piece, gently use an old toothbrush to polish metal features. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the metal or stones.
Please be aware that certain crystals do not like water, if in doubt - please check first.
Maintenance Tips
Remove jewellery before bathing, bedtime and strenuous activities to prevent damage.
Place crystal items on/near other cleansing crystals e.g. selenite or clear quartz, and/or by the light of the moon to cleanse and recharge crystals. smudging and other incense also have similar recharging properties
